kristian p Enjoyed the first season. Watched the second season. Wanted to love it. Disappointed in how the handled some of the character's development. Why is the one who is betrayed by her friend becoming a bad guy? This is a common theme I've noticed in movies and TV. It really puts me off. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member This show is effing fantastic! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Ramps up sense of tension and makes the most of its loveable characters. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member If GLOW season 2 wasn't about the struggle, it wouldn't make any sense that it was about wrestlers. Wrestle on, ladies, wrestle on. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member This season of Glow will shine again, with spectacular action sequences, radical changes, and excellent performances that will surprise with their unique and special style. Heather Hogan Autostraddle I actually don't mind the shorter episodes, but I wish there were twice as many. That'd still be less eps than a standard network comedy. It's doable! Oct 22, 2021 Full Review Scarlett Harris Bitch Media GLOW made some missteps this season, but it's still drawing fresh eyes to wrestling and trying to educate its audiences about consent in wrestling during the #MeToo era. Mar 5, 2021 Full Review Alexandra Pollard Independent (UK) This season belongs to Debbie, who in Gilpin's hands is at once fierce and fragile, facing more battles outside of the ring than inside. Rated: 4/5 Aug 7, 2019 Full Review Bill Brioux Brioux.tv The series also manages to balance comedy and action with some keen-eyed commentary on the times. Nov 8, 2022 Full Review Mimi Wong Mediaversity Reviews In an overdue move, Season 2 introduces the show's first openly gay character. Rated: B Jan 11, 2020 Full Review Angela L. Harmon The NitPic Every actual wrestling moment GLOW offers is actually lively and exciting and super fun. If it gets a third season, let's hope it recognizes where its strengths are, and ditch any and all dead weight. Dec 12, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews
